City Park

1500 W Mulberry St
Fort Collins, CO 80521
(970) 221-6660

Description:

The 85-acre City Park was originally purchased for a sheep farm in 1874, and now, over a hundred years later, the park offers many family-friendly recreational activities. In addition to a swimming pool with water slides and a lazy river, the park has baseball diamonds, a fitness track, tennis courts, picnic and playground areas. During the summer, paddleboat rides can be enjoyed on the manmade lake and a miniature train takes a brief, entertaining trip around a small area of the park. The park is just half a mile northwest of Colorado State University, set amidst a quite residential area yet still within easy reach of downtown.

Hours of Operation:

Open daily, dawn until dusk.
